Gloucestershire-based Giffords Circus has added six extra dates to its Cirencester stop-over due to "unprecedented demand" for tickets.
The touring circus was recently forced to close down for 10 days after team members tested positive for Covid, affecting shows at Minchinhampton and Marlborough.
The additional shows at Stratton Meadows, Cirencester, are as follows:
- Sunday, September 5th, 3pm & 7pm
- Monday, September 6th, 5pm & 7.30pm
- Tuesday, September 7th, 5pm & 7.30pm
You can book tickets by calling the box office on 01242 691181.
A statement from Giffords Circus said: "To all ticket holders affected by our temporary closure due to positive PCR tests in the circus staff, we would like to thank you all for your understanding and apologise for any disappointment caused.
"In line with Government advice we had to close the circus very quickly between shows on the 26th August which as you can imagine was devastating for all the staff who we had to isolate and move very quickly and especially for those of you with tickets looking forward to the show.
"Most people have now exchanged their tickets Once we are satisfied that those wishing to exchange have done so we will put any additional tickets on general sale."
The Hooley is Giffords' show for 2021 and features fairies, trolls, pixies, leprechauns and wild horses and its biggest and most lavish set to date.
