Get ready for Oktoberfest in the heart of Gloucester!

This weekend is the one you've been waiting for as The Thirsty Pine Beer Café brings Oktoberfest to the heart of Gloucester!

From Thursday, September 25, to Saturday, September 27, there will be a full weekend of German and Bavarian beers, great food and, of course, live music (yes, there will be Oompah!) for all to enjoy.

The weekend will feature some of Oktoberfest's favourite tipples such as Louwenbrau and Paulaner, as well as some hidden gems including Spaten and Hacker, and much more!

Sam Godding, The Thirsty Pine's marketing manager, said: "We'll have two-pint steins available for all of our beers (excluding some of the stronger Belgian offerings), genuine Bratwurst, and hot pretzels to boot!

"Live music will include The Thirsty Pine Jazz Collective, kicking things off in swinging style on Thursday night, and then on Saturday we're pleased to welcome Cowabunga from 4.30pm, playing through the afternoon with a selection of all your rock favourites.

"Then from 9.30pm Oompah Cymru bring a big brass finish to the weekend, bringing down the house in true Bavarian style!

"So polish your stein, strap on your lederhosen, and get ready for a true knees-up, Pine style!

"More info will be up on our social media throughout the week, including the full beer list, so keep your eyes peeled at the event for more!"
