Date announced for next Fresh: Art Fair

Where: Cheltenham Racecourse

When: April 27 to 29, 2018

Organisers of the first Fresh: Art Fair in Cheltenham have announced it will return for another year.

Over the weekend of May 12 to 14, the fair attracted around 4,500 people who bought more than £400,000 worth of paintings and sculptures.

The fair, at The Centaur at Cheltenham Racecourse, featured 45 of the UK's best contemporary galleries including Panter & Hall, Thompson's Galleries, Eames Fine Art and Hicks Gallery showing work by over 400 artists.

Local galleries were also well represented with John Noott Galleries of Broadway and Campden Gallery from Chipping Campden.

The event was organised by The Paragon Gallery in Cheltenham, in partnership with the Royal West of England Academy, The Royal Birmingham Society of Artists, Bonhams, Hamptons and The Wilson in Cheltenham.

Ticket prices will remain the same next year at £6 for two, if bought online in advance.
