Daniel to bring Cathedral's majestic organ to life

Durham Cathedral's Daniel Cook, an internationally recognised organist, is to close the Gloucester Cathedral Evening Organ Recital Series 2017.
Daniel is Master of the Choristers and organist of Durham Cathedral and is recognised as a liturgical and concert organist of the highest order.
In addition, he is artistic director of Mousai, curator of JAM on the Marsh, and maintains a busy schedule of recitals, concerts and recordings, both as performer and producer, as well as being in demand as a conductor, teacher and singer.
Daniel's programme will include music from some of the greatest composers: Dietrich Buxtehude, Johann Sebastian Bach, William Harris, Jean Langlais and Louis Vierne.
All are welcome at 6.45pm at the West End of the Cathedral Nave for a pre-concert drink to mark the end of the hugely successful 2017 series and then hear Daniel bring the Cathedral's majestic organ to life.
Admission is free with a retiring collection in aid of Cathedral Music
