By David Wood | 19th October 2018
Where: Tetbury Goods Shed
When: Saturday, October 27, 8pm
The Goods Shed Comedy Club returns with more hilarity, mirth and merriment than you can shake a (rather large) funny stick at!
The evening features Morgan Rees and everyone's favourite funny footwear, The Scottish Falsetto Sock Puppet Theatre. All compered by the delightful James Loveridge.
Morgan Rees is a rising star of the UK circuit. This softly spoken Welsh comedian boasts a densely packed arsenal of impressive one-liners and hilarious short stories.
He has appeared on BBC Radio 4 in the prestigious finals of the BBC New Comedy Award. He was also a runner-up in So You Think You're Funny 2017, and a finalist in Chortle Student Comedy Award.
Based in Bristol, he gigs all over the UK as both act and compere, and has performed on several mixed bill shows at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe since 2016.
The Scottish Falsetto Sock Puppet Theatre are the comedy double act that has to be seen to be believed. Absolutely stupidly hilarious!
Taking on anything from James Bond to Star Wars, these guys are the stars of BBC 3's Comedy Shuffle and Upstaged, and MTV's Best Show Ever, and the darlings of YouTube. Get ready for ridiculously clever (and daft) songs, sketches, socks and violence.
James Loveridge draws on the most embarrassing recesses of his own life for hilarious stories that captivate and entertain audiences with his cheeky yet charming personality.
Tickets are available from the Goods Shed website or on the door.
