Families are bubbling over with excitement as a hugely popular fundraising event returns to Cirencester this autumn.
Bubble Rush is a fun run with a difference as all those taking part are blasted by bubbles as they take on the 5k course at the Royal Agricultural University on Sunday, October 7.
The course starts in a sea of bubbles and at each bubble station there will be high-powered foam canons blowing out even more as people run past, making this an exciting event for all the family, from toddlers to teenagers and their parents and grandparents.
When the event is in full swing, a team of Bubble Commandos will be manning each cannon to make sure everyone gets their fair share of colourful bubble action.
Exhilarating Bubble Rush events have swept the UK with more than 100 taking place across the country since it was launched in 2015, raising more than £2 million for hospices nationwide.
In Gloucestershire, the event is taking place for Longfield, based in Minchinhampton, which provides specialist services for adults affected by life-limiting illness.
Last year more than 1,000 people took part in the Cirencester Bubble Rush, immersing themselves in shimmering yellow, pink, blue and green bubbles before they crossed the finish line.
Longfield is hoping for an equally fantastic turnout this year, with everyone encouraged to come along and join in.
The course is family-friendly and people can run, jog, walk or dance their way through the bright bubbles with all those taking part getting a medal at the end too.
The Bubble Rush runs from 11am to 5pm on Sunday, October 7. To register, visit www.longfield.org.uk/Event/longfield-bubble-rush2
