Celebrating 50 years of Led Zeppelin

Where: Tetbury Goods Shed, Gumstool Hill, Tetbury

When: Friday, July 27, and Saturday, July 28, 9.45pm

Led Zeppelin fans are in for a real treat later this month with two nights of tribute music at the Tetbury Goods Shed.

On Saturday, July 28, Whole Lotta Led - The UK's leading Led Zeppelin tribute band - play a concert celebrating 50 Years of Led Zeppelin from 1968 - 2018.

In August 1968 four young musicians convened in a small rehearsal room in London and performed an old Johnny Burnette song Train Kept A-Rollin. This was the birth of Led Zeppelin.

Little did Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones, Robert Plant or John Bonham realise at the time what the future held for them but within a very short period of time they were the biggest band in the world and despite disbanding in 1980 they still are.

Throughout 2018 Whole Lotta Led will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of the birth of Led Zeppelin with a show that will include songs from all of their studio albums, ranging from their beautiful acoustic songs to the huge anthems we have come to know and love.

Now in their 22nd year, Whole Lotta Led are widely regarded as the closest to the original that you will ever hear with their five-piece line-up reproducing the songs as near to the album versions as possible.

The previous evening, Friday, July 27, Whole Lotta Led are at The Shed presenting Light Zeppelin (Zeppelin unplugged).

Formed in 2014 as an off-shoot of Whole Lotta Led, Light Zeppelin perform acoustic versions of Led Zeppelin's amazing songs.

Obviously the band perform Led Zeppelin's beautiful acoustic numbers but they also play stunning versions of the Zep classics, including Black Dog, Kashmir and of course the hugely popular Stairway To Heaven.

On this special night Light Zeppelin will be joined by guest musicians for an evening of timeless music performed by outstanding musicians

Tickets are £18 in advance and £20 on the door (special discount tickets for both nights are available)

To book tickets, go to www.shed-arts.co.uk  or for general enquiries call 01666 505496.
