When: Friday, February 22, and Saturday, February 23, 10am & 2pm

Calling all junior polar explorers - join the Antarctic adventurers as they recreate life for Ernest Shackleton and his crew at The Wilson Art Gallery & Museum in Cheltenham.

Young visitors will be able to discover more about the clothes and equipment used by Shackleton during his trip to the Antarctic on The Endurance.

Children can learn how they cooked, what food they ate and how they kept warm in sub-zero conditions.

Drop-in sessions will run from 10am-12.30pm and again from 2-4.30pm on Friday, February 22, and Saturday, February 23.

The sessions will cost £2 per adult, with accompanied children going free.
