VIDEO Punchline Talks: Friday Briefing Jan 8

It has been a turbulent start to the new year so it is good to know some things can be relied on - such as the Punchline Friday Business Briefing.

Each week, Punchline-Gloucester.com editor Mark Owen is joined by a panel of Gloucestershire's leading business figures to run the rule over the headlines which caught their eyes - and the stories behind them.

Joining him this week are:

  • Andy Hogarth - Financial planning manager, Hazlewoods
  • Sam Holliday - Gloucestershire business development manager, Federation of Small Businesses
  • Chris Price - Senior partner, Tayntons Solicitors
  • Daniel O'Neill - Managing director, ProCook

Among the issues covered this week are the rise of domestic violence during lockdown, problems with exports and our UK ports from Brexit, local shares and how they affect us and the local economy, more cashflow problems for SMEs and, hopefully, help with a new Government scheme for limited company directors.

Subscribe to the Punchline daily newsletter to be among the first to see the weekly Friday briefings.

If you have any views of what has been discussed or would like to take part in future Friday briefings, email mark@moosemarketingandpr.co.uk
