E125 Punchline Talks! With Deborah Flint, Phillip Bishop, Amelia Black and Silas Miller

Each Friday, Punchline-Gloucester.com editor Mark Owen is joined by leading Gloucestershire business figures from a range of backgrounds to review Friday's national and regional newspapers and discuss what is happening in their own business sector and their own individual businesses.

Finally, they round off by picking the stories that have caught their eye in this week's Punchline-Gloucester.com.

The Business Breakfast Briefer show is sponsored by Hazlewoods Accountants and Business Advisors.

This week's panel of experts were:

Phillip Bishop - Managing director/ owner of award-winning estate agents based in the Cotswolds - with six offices covering Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire and Wiltshire. Phillip is an expert in the property market, where houses can go for millions. We find out if the housing market is cooling and if so, what should we do about it?

Deborah Flint - Co-owner of Cinderhill Farm, St Briavels in the Forest of Dean - the farm is famous for its sausage rolls. Sales are up by 7% this year, so their 16 staff are as busy as ever, hand making over half a million sausage rolls per year - that's over 11,000 per week! They will be appearing on this Monday's (August 28) Channel 4 A Cotswold Farm Shop at 8pm. We get the lowdown about what happens behind the scenes.

Amelia Black - Co-owner/ founder of The Tetbury Pet Shop and Nuts for Pets - the shop opened just under a year ago and already they are looking to expand, but where to and when? Also, we hear their own dog food brand has gone from strength to strength and they now wholesale to 450-500 pet stores across the country. We find out why it's been such a success and what new products they are planning.

Silas Miller - Director of WSP Solicitors, which has two practices in Gloucestershire - in Stroud and Gloucester, employing 65 staff. Silas leads the marketing team and we find out why the company is so busy at the moment. It's not an easy task when the target audience is spread across a large demographic of ages - from first time buyers to the elderly looking to make a will.

Also covered - the rising cost of energy bills - how much to cook sausage rolls?! Cost-of-living crisis and homelessness across the UK, thoughts on the latest train strikes and the demise of Wilko - plus lots, lots more. It's jam packed as always.
