E149 Punchline Talks! with Huw Lewis, Dr Matthew Andrews, Talitha Nelson and Serena Gay

Each Friday, Punchline-Gloucester.com editor Mark Owen is joined by leading Gloucestershire business figures from a range of backgrounds to review Friday's national and regional newspapers and discuss what is happening in their own business sector and their own individual businesses.

Finally, they round off by picking the stories that have caught their eye in this week's Punchline-Gloucester.com.

The Business Breakfast Briefer show is sponsored by Hazlewoods Accountants and Business Advisors.

This week's panel of experts were:

Huw Lewis MBE - MD of Black Mountain. The company produces branded clothing from its Ross-on-Wye base. It currently has 15 staff with a turnover of £1million. We find out all about the company and how Huw was awarded his MBE.

Dr Matthew Andrews - chief operating officer for the University of Gloucestershire. We find out how the new city centre campus is progressing - the trials and tribulations and what its going to mean for the city when its finished.

Talitha Nelson - CEO of Gloucestershire Community Foundation - a charity that helps and supports over 3,000 Gloucestershire charities. The trust has just commissioned a survey that confirmed that over 41,000 children live in poverty in Cheltenham and how they plan to help. Plus they have just recently won an award!

Serena Gay - MD of MFY Podcasts - Serena is an ex-BBC Radio presenter and after many years advising and making Podcasts, she is slightly changing tactic and we find out all about it. Today was jam packed as always.

Also in the mix today: Tory donor payments, Russian elections, John Lewis sales, mental health and worklessness, Concorde, £10million rail investment, Princess Kate and 'that' photograph media feeding frenzy and sadly Ester Rantzen's last stand, Gfirst LEP, and MP's visit to Gloucester.
