To mark National Apprenticeship Week (February 6-12), Punchline-Gloucester.com has been talking to apprentices and people who work with apprentices from around the county.

Oliver Pritchett is the workshop foreman at Barnwood Ltd, managing staff making furniture for banks and other clients.

He started out as a joinery apprentice when he was 16.

Gloucester-based Barnwood Ltd has three different divisions - Construction, Shopfitting & Interiors and General Works. It works for clients locally and nationally across a range of sectors, including industrial, retail and education.
