Witness appeal following assault in Stroud

Police in Stroud are appealing for witnesses to an assault which happened in one of the town's takeaway businesses.
At approximately 10.30pm on Friday, August 17, a man was assaulted inside Stroud Kebab World on King Street by another man.
The incident continued onto the street outside the business.
Members of the public who had been in the Curio Lounge opposite then intervened and police are keen to speak to these people.
The victim, aged in his 20s, was treated by the ambulance service for facial and head injuries.
At the time of the offence the offender was wearing a white T-shirt, jeans and dark coloured shoes. He is described as a white man, aged in his early 30s and around 5ft 6ins tall.
A 30-year-old man from Stroud has been interviewed under caution in connection with the incident.
Anyone with information about the assault should call police on 101 and quote incident 504 of August 17.
