Budding Harry Kanes and Chloe Kellys in Winchcombe have been given a boost towards achieving their dream thanks to a new sports fund backed by former England cricketer Darren Gough.
The £75,000 Gigaclear Rural Sports Club Fund aims to support teams based in rural communities across the broadband company's full fibre network, which spans 26 counties.
Much needed training goals have been netted by Winchcombe Town Youth FC to help the young footballers develop their shooting skills and help them progress.
Club chairman Aaron Howe said: "Thanks to Gigaclear's Rural Sports Club Fund, we've been able to acquire proper training goals for all our teams. The support ensures our players can train effectively and reach their full potential. We're truly grateful."
Fund ambassador Darren Gough said: "Since launching the fund, it has gone from strength to strength, providing valuable support where it is needed most.
"It's great to see so much kit and equipment being sent out to rural sports clubs such as Winchcombe Town Youth FC. I believe it will help make a difference to players now and to the rural sports teams of the future."
The club, whose teams play their matches at Winchcombe Senior School but train on Winchcombe Town HUB, offers schoolchildren the opportunity to play league and cup football in both the Evesham and Cheltenham Leagues.
More than 1,500 homes and businesses in Winchcombe and surrounding communities are now able to access Gigaclear's full fibre broadband offering ultrafast speeds up to 900Mbps.
