UPDATE: Person dies following collision in Cheltenham

A pedestrian has died following a collision on the A4019 Tewkesbury Road in Cheltenham on Friday night (March 25).

They were taken to Southmead Hospital, Bristol, in a serious condition following the collision, and have since died.

The incident happened at around 9.20pm when a person was struck by a vehicle in the Uckington area.

Investigations are continuing and officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed what happened, or anyone who has dashcam footage, to make contact with police.

They would particularly like to speak to anybody who may have seen a person walking along Tewkesbury Road at that time.

Anyone with information is asked to provide this to police by calling 101 or online and quoting incident 487 of March 25.
