Unique chance to visit county's big developments

The public are being given the opportunity to look behind the scenes at some of the county's biggest development projects.

Build UK, an organisation representing the UK construction industry, is holding Open Door events a major live construction sites across the country from Monday 19 March - Saturday 24 March.

In Gloucestershire there will be a chance to see the new University of Gloucestershire students' accommodation taking shape off Ladybellegate Street, Gloucester; the new Gloucester Bus Station; the new Business School at Oxstalls campus, Gloucester; Cheltenham Crematorium and Bishops Cleeve School.

The Open Door events will explain how new buildings and structures are created and it is hoped will inspire young people to consider a career in the construction industry.
