Traffic alert: Mobile camera sites are announced

The Gloucestershire Road Safety Partnership has announced where it will be positioning mobile speed cameras.

The Mobile Camera Enforcement Unit aims to reduce risks to road users caused by vehicles travelling at excessive speeds.

The mobile speed detection vans operate at more than 80 sites across the county and prioritise site activity by examining speed and accident data including intelligence received from communities

The priority sites for May will be:

• Princess Elizabeth Way, Cheltenham

• A4173 near St Peter's School, Gloucester

• A46 Ashchurch, Tewkesbury

• A417 Dartley Bottom

• Estcourt Road, Gloucester
