Tech start-up partners with St James’s Place

Cirencester-based St James's Place has teamed up with eSwapp to launch a skill swapping platform as part of its digital learning strategy.

The London AI firm has joined forces with the wealth management giant to create 'eSwapp for SJP', which enables SJP employees to search for and connect with each other instantly based on skills.

It is a first in financial services, although this peer-to-peer learning is widely used by leading technology companies such as Google, as reported by Business Leader.

The project will enable SJP staff to swap skills either in person or online to help grow their own, and their colleagues' expertise.

ESwapp for SJP replaces traditional, time consuming skills audits, requiring multiple forms and surveys and offering only a snapshot in time.

The new platform means SJP has a real-time and interactive skills matrix of all existing expertise, and can see which skills are in demand and who has them, as well as identify any gaps.
