Dates have been released for this year's Stroud Christmas markets.

Now an established annual event the markets are now in their sixth year.

Held in the Cornhill in the run up to the final farmers' market of the year (Saturday, December 22) it is all about drawing in visitors to the Cotswold town centre by creating a great festive atmosphere.

For the organiser, Gerb Gerbrands, it is all about showcasing the independent shops, retailers, eateries, artists, craft people, cafes, pubs and restaurants.

Stroud Christmas Markets are due to be held at the Cornhill on Wednesday, December 19, Thursday, December 20 and Friday, December 21.
