A plot of land ripe for residential development and close to the centre of Cheltenham has hit the market.
The 0.63 acre plot on Swindon Road, close to the University of Gloucestershire's Folley playing fields is close to the St Paul's district of the town.
The L shaped property is close to the roundabout junction with Richards Road and Malvern Street and is being marketed by Bruton Knowles as a possible residential development.
"The site appears to have good scope for demolition of the existing buildings and for residential development - subject to gaining planning permission," the brochure for the site says.
"The site is not included within a conservation area and is not contained within a sensitive landscape designation.
"The site is not at risk of flooding. We understand that the current planning use is C3 Residential and that there have been no attempts to pursue a planning application on site to date."#
The quarter-hectare plot contains what the brochure says is a "dilapidated farmhouse and outbuildings."
A series of viewings - coronavirus depending, clearly - have been arranged by Bruton Knowles for anyone interested in the site on March 25, April 3 and April 14.
The property is for sale by informal tender with sealed bids requested by no later than noon on April 30.
