Upmarket maternity and childrenswear retailer has seen an impressive 12.8 per cent year-on-year increase in like-for-like sales.
Jojo Maman Bebe, which has a store in Cheltenham, has credited growth in its physical stores and an investment in infrastructure and IT for the rise in sales and profits in the year to 30th June, as reported by Retail Gazette.
The company reported full-year sales of £67.6 million, a 17.6 per cent year-on-year increase, during the period in which it opened seven new UK stores and two in the US.
Jojo Maman Bebe, whose designs have been worn by the Duchess of Cambridge, said its overall sales were boosted by an 11.9 per cent increase in in-store sales to £4.2 million.
However, online sales saw the biggest rise, climbing 29 per cent to £24.7 million and now accounting for 36.6 per cent of total revenues, compared with 33.3 per cent the previous year.
Pre-tax profits for the year grew 10 per cent to £4.3 million, up from £3.9 million in 2017.
