Primark unveils ‘women only’ changing rooms

Primark has separated its changing rooms into 'women only' and 'all genders', with new signage to separate the two.
But a spokesperson for the fashion retailer, which has stores in Cheltenham and Gloucester, said this isn't a new change in policy.
She said: "We introduced a series of changes to our fitting rooms in September last year, based on feedback from customers and colleagues, and the new signage is part of these changes.
"The fitting rooms have been operating like this since October, but in the last few weeks permanent signage has replaced the temporary signage."
Primark announced in the autumn that it would be scrapping its gender-neutral changing rooms, after women reported that they didn't feel safe.
The new signs read: "These fitting rooms are for Women only. We also have Any Gender fitting rooms available for everyone - please ask."
On its website, Primark said: "The combined fitting room area is for everyone. The women-only area is for all women and customers are not required to provide identification."
