Poundland extends fashion offer to more stores

Poundland has extended its fashion range to 560 stores across the UK and Ireland, including 56 former Wilko branches.
The expansion means Poundland, which has stores in Cheltenham, Gloucester and Tewkesbury, will stock new ranges from lifestyle and athleisure brands, such as Bekkin and Cardio Bunny, as reported by Retail Gazette.

The expansion has been powered by parent company, Pepco Group, which has enabled Poundland to reduce average selling prices by 10%, as it takes advantage of the parent company's buying power for over 4,600 stores across Europe.
Poundland shoppers will see clothing ranges change more often, with new products arriving in stores every week.
New ranges include Pepco's kidswear brand Kukukid, making use of licensing partnerships, and stocking ranges such as Harry Potter.
Poundland has also reconfigured stores to offer more children's and baby clothes than previously. Over the last eight weeks, every branch offering kids' clothing has doubled the amount of space dedicated to childrenswear by 50%.
Under rapid expansion plans, more than 75 Poundland stores are being opened in the current quarter to December.
