Man attacked and head smashed through window of business

Police are looking for a man in connection with an assault outside a Stroud business which saw the victim attacked and his head pushed through a window.

Officers in Stroud have released a CCTV image of man they would like to speak to in connection with the incident of criminal damage and assault.

Police were called to London Road at 3.30am on Sunday 18 August following reports of a fight outside Falafel Mama.

"It's believed a member of the public was punched multiple times and that his head was also pushed into the glass window of the takeaway," said a statement from Gloucestershire Constabulary.

"The window smashed in the process and the victim required medical treatment for his injuries."

Officers are asking anyone who recognises the man pictured to please call 101 quoting incident 66 of August 18.
