Police have released CCTV images of a gang of men they would like to speak to in connection with a burglary near Stroud.

Officers were called to a property on School Lane, Whitminster, shortly after 7.35pm on Thursday, October 24, following reports that homeowners had disturbed a group of men who had broken into their house.

"It is believed five men with Irish accents gained entry to the property at some point between 6.50pm and 7.10pm before stealing a number of valuable items of jewellery from inside and leaving in a dark coloured car which was possibly a BMW," said a police statement.

Anyone who recognises the men pictured or has information about the burglary is asked to call 101 quoting incident 382 of 24 October.
