Police hunt knife-point robbers

Police are searching for robbers who help up two Cheltenham businesses at knife-point early on Easter Monday.

The first one happened at around 7am at the Post Office, Whaddon Road, Cheltenham and the second one, just before 7.30am was at Lewis Newagents, Station Road, Woodmancote.

Two white men, believed to be in their twenties, threatened staff at both premises with a knife and got away with cash. Fortunately there were no injuries.

One man was wearing Nike bottoms and top with the hood up, possibly with a black beanie type hat underneath. He was wearing yellow gardening gloves and walking boots.

The second man, a little older than the first, was wearing a flat grey hat, a black top with a bright orange jumper underneath, black gloves and black trainers. He had greyish stubble.

Police would like to hearing from anyone who saw or heard anything that could help us with our enquiries. Please call 101 quoting incident numbers 89 and 94 of 17 April 2017.
