Police appeal for witnesses after serious sexual assault in Gloucester

Police are appealing for information after a woman was the victim of a serious sexual assault in Gloucester during the early hours of Wednesday morning.
The victim was attacked on a footpath near Heron Way in Abbeydale at around 1am.
She is now receiving support from our officers and other agencies.
Anyone who saw the incident or has information is urged to call 101 and quote incident 14 of 3 April.
