Piri-piri chicken stall set to fly into Stroud's Five Valleys

A brand-new food vendor is set to join the line up at the Five Valleys indoor market in Stroud in the coming weeks.

Opening in early spring, House of Piri will serve a wide range of flavoursome, Piri-Piri foods including chicken wings, breast and wraps plus a selection of vegetarian and vegan Piri flavoured dishes.

House of Piri was created by local father and son-in-law team Wayne Miller and Ian Calvert.

Mr Calvert is also the owner of the popular Thai 2 Go stall at the Five Valleys Market. He is now joining forces with Wayne who is ready to bring his breadth of knowledge and experience of the food industry to their new venture at Five Valleys.

House of Piri will take over the Non Solo Italian stall located next to Callaghin's Kitchen and Pie Minister. Non Solo have recently announced their expansion plans and will be moving to a larger unit within the Five Valleys Market in the next few weeks.

Mr Miller said: "Ian and I are really looking forward to launching our new business at the Five Valleys Market later this year.

"Being a part of the Market for the past year, we have built a great relationship with visitors and fellow food traders and we definitely feel there is a gap in the line-up for authentic Piri Piri food".

Centre manager of Five Valleys, Dionne Moore said: "House of Piri will be a fantastic addition to the food-to-go selection at the indoor market and we wish Wayne and Ian the very best with their new venture!".

The Five Valleys Market traders are currently open and trading Monday to Friday from 10am-5pm.
