Online card business suspended after cyber attack

Personalised online card retailer, Funky Pigeon, has suspended orders after a cyber security incident last week.

The business, owned by WHSmith, said its systems were offline due to an attack on April 14, as reported by Retail Gazette.

WHSmith said customer payment information, including bank account and credit card details, have not been compromised, but it said it would be investigating whether names, addresses and email addresses have been accessed.

Funky Pigeon said it is working round the clock to investigate and resolve the issues, but that it is currently unable to fulfil customer orders.

It said it would be contacting every customer from the past 12 months to let them know about the issues.
