Oh crêpe joins Stroud's Five Valleys Market

A new trader has joined Five Valleys Market in Stroud, bringing a menu of sweet and savoury crêpes.

Twin brothers Tom and Jake Watson started Oh crêpe! eight years ago touring their catering van at major festivals across the UK and beyond.

They are now ready to plant roots, bringing a modern take to the classic French snack to their new unit at the Five Valleys Market.

Sweet flavours will include lemon and sugar, apple and cinnamon, Ferrero Rocher, strawberries, meringue and white chocolate, whilst the savoury menu will have creations such as 'Sir Francis Bacon' which is French brie, streaky bacon and sweet chili jam, and 'The Popeye' consisting of cheddar, spinach, pine nuts and red onion chutney.

Oh crêpe! Hopes to also serve an exciting range of American stack pancakes, shakes and coffee as well as providing plenty of vegan, dairy free and gluten free options to cater to all.

The pair are also passionate about their impact on the environment, using only compostable, plastic-free packaging and food containers.

Tom Watson said: "After recently moving to Stroud, I fell in love with the Five Valleys indoor market and knew this was the perfect place to open our second branch of Oh crêpe.

"We are really looking forward to making our freshly made creations in front of our Stroud customers and introducing our quirky range of flavors, whether you have a sweet or savoury tooth."

Five Valleys market manager, Jessica Derham said: "We are delighted to welcome Tom and Jake to Five Valleys, they have some really exciting dishes to offer to our shoppers and we are sure they will go down a treat."
