New owner for bedroom retailer

Bedroom retailer Sharps Bedrooms has changed hands, according to former owner Sun European Partners.

The retailer, which has a showroom in the Regent Arcade in Cheltenham and also specialises in home offices, reaches its customers mainly through digital channels.

Sun European's experience helped Sharps to capitalise on changing consumer habits, supporting the retailer's showrooms and ecommerce offering, as reported by Retail Gazette.

The partnership helped Sharps become the number one market player in the bespoke fitted bedroom furniture market.

Sun European said it is confident that the brand will continue to grow under new ownership.
