New restaurant heading for Cheltenham

Loungers plc, the West Country-based café/ bar group, is gearing up to open a new restaurant in Cheltenham next month.

Fioro Lounge will open on April 5 and will be based on Bath Road, just outside the town centre.

The Loungers build and design team is already working to transform the former garden centre in Loungers' unique and quirky style.

Fioro Lounge will be open from 9am until 10pm every day for breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner and drinks, including full kids', gluten-free and vegan menus.

With a focus on community and neighbourhood, Fioro Lounge will welcome locals looking for a space for regular catch-ups, meetings and events - from business networking to book or knitting clubs and parent and baby meets.

Gemma Irwin, community manager at Loungers, said: "We're so looking forward to opening the doors of Fioro Lounge in Cheltenham. We hope our family friendly environment and top-notch food and drink offering will prove popular with local residents.

"We're passionate about integrating genuinely into the communities we serve, so we're looking forward to meeting everyone and to playing our part at the heart of Cheltenham's food and drink scene.

"Anyone looking for a space to host events or groups should pop in once we're open, we'd love to hear from them and see what we can do to help."

A range of front- and back-of-house jobs are on offer at the restaurant.

Loungers already has a number of venues in the county - Portivo Lounge in Gloucester, Rosado Lounge in Tewkesbury, Toro Lounge in Cirencester and Curio Lounge in Stroud.
