New director appointed to the board of GFirst Local Enterprise Partnership

A leading executive from one of Gloucestershire's most innovative companies has joined the board of GFirst LEP, Gloucestershire's Local Enterprise Partnership.

GFirst LEP have confirmed the appointment of Emma Hanby to the 17-strong board of directors, serving as a board member.

Ms Hanby is head of service management at Campden BRI, the Chipping Campden-based food industry experts.

Campden BRI offer consultancy to the food and drink industry all over the planet, providing practical, scientific, technical and advisory services to a host of big-name manufacturers.

Ms Hanby has worked at Campden BRI for more than 15years in the process development sector, spending time in research and product innovation before heading up the service management team.

In addition to the technical experience, she is a qualified leadership coach, focusing on the development of future talent at Campden BRI.

Dr Diane Savory OBE, Chair of GFirst LEP says, "We are really pleased to welcome Emma to the GFirst LEP Board.

"The food and drink sector alongside agri-tech are important sectors for Gloucestershire and Campden BRI are world leaders in their field".

Ms Hanby added: "I am delighted to be joining the GFirst LEP Board and am hopeful that my background in food and drink can support the strategic vision for Gloucestershire.

"I am looking forward to influencing decisions to support the growth of the county that I live and work in."
