Cotswold Cheltenham MINI has bagged a prestigious award in a national event hosted by comedian Alan Carr and radio presenter Edith Bowman.

The premium car retailer, based on Corinthian Way, was made overall MINI Retailer of the Year 2022, while the dealership team were also top performers in the used cars category.

Drawn up to acknowledge exceptional retailer talent, BMW Group UK kickstarted 2023 by using the awards to recognise the hard work and dedication of BMW and MINI retailers across its network.

The trophies join a crowded cabinet for Cotswold MINI, having recently achieved 'MINI Financial Services Retailer of the Year,' and 'MINI Customer Retailer of the Year' accolades, as well as a Skills and Development Award from Motor trader in 2021.

Automotive Management reports that BMW began 2023 as the fastest-growing brand for pure electric vehicles in the UK, with every fourth Mini hatch registered as a Mini Electric.

Among new launches for 2023, BMW is marketing its iX1 crossover, i4 saloon and i7 limousine to boost its zero-emissions portfolio.

Consolidated in Cheltenham, the Cotswold Motor Group also has BMW and MINI Retail Centres in Hereford, BMW Motorrad motorcycle retailing in Cheltenham, plus an Approved Bodyshop and pre-delivery inspection centre in Tewkesbury.
