New appointment bolsters Cheltenham-based legal firm

A new appointment has been made to the commercial litigation team at DF Legal LLP's Cheltenham office.

Kamrul Zaman has stepped up from his role as a paralegal to qualified solicitor status with the firm.

Mr Zaman first joined DF Legal in 2016 before securing a training contract the following year.

He was previously based at a large national firm within their commercial litigation team, dealing with large PLC clients on a regular basis.

During his time at DF Legal, Mr Zaman has worked with in-house barrister Jack Henry, who has recently been promoted to the role of head of family law and litigation.

David Ferraby, Solicitor and partner of the Firm, said: "We're thrilled to have Kamrul on board with us as a fully qualified solicitor.

"He continues to work tirelessly for the Firm and our clients, delivering top quality legal advice in a clear and personable manner, and the feedback we receive reflects this.

"We look forward to recognising and nurturing more talent like Kamrul from within."

Mr Zaman has a wealth of knowledge and experience across a range of litigation matters, including money claims, breach of contract disputes and residential landlord and tenant matters.

He said: "I would like to thank DF Legal who not only gave me the opportunity for undertaking the Training Contract, but also fully supported me throughout, especially when I had to welcome two lovely daughters in 2017 and 2019.

"I now look forward to building my career as a solicitor and continuing onto greater and higher feats in the legal industry."

DF Legal LLP acts for individuals and businesses on legal matters, based across Gloucestershire and Herefordshire.
