Motorcyclist injured in Forest of Dean collision

A motorcyclist sustained serious injuries in a collision in Lydbrook, Forest of Dean last week and officers are appealing for witnesses.

Police were called to the scene on Stowfield Road at around 7pm on Friday (February 25) with a report a motorcycle had collided with a parked stationary vehicle.

The collision involved an orange Honda motorcycle and a red Nissan Juke.

The motorcyclist, a man aged in his 30s and from Hereford, sustained serious injuries and was taken to Southmead Hospital in Bristol. He remains there for treatment.

Officers investigating the collision would like to hear from anyone who has not already spoken to police who may have witnessed what took place, or who may have relevant dashcam or CCTV footage.
