Menswear store to leave Gloucester Quays site

Menswear outlet Chester Barrie are closing their shop at Gloucester Quays at the end of the month.

Signs in the window are showing there is a closing down sale with incredible bargains to be had as stock that is onsite is sold ahead of the end of July.

Punchline understands that the retailer is at the end of its current tenancy agreement and has decided not to renew.

However, it is also understood that talks are ongoing with prospective new tenants for the Chester Barrie premises and also the site of the former Next outlet store.

The Next site is one of the prime spots in the Quays due to its proximity from St Ann's Way.
