Marchants picks up key Cheltenham route from Stagecoach

Marchants Coaches has stepped in to provide an essential bus route in Cheltenham.

The L service will start on Monday (November 28) and link Leckhampton with Bath Road, the town centre and Cheltenham General Hospital.

The service will operate Monday to Friday, every 45 minutes from 7am until 6pm.

It is the latest service announcement, on behalf of Gloucestershire County Council, after Stagecoach West pulled out of a large number of services in the county.

The news follows announcements that Bennetts Coaches is to take over Arle Court Park and Ride and Newport Bus will provide two services in the Forest of Dean.
