Man dies in Cirencester collision

Gloucestershire Constabulary are appealing for witnesses to a fatal collision in Cirencester on Saturday night, February 26.

The single-vehicle collision happened around 11.45pm and involved a silver Vauxhall Insignia which had been travelling on the A429 Stow Road.

Members of the public stopped to assist and emergency services attended.

The driver of the vehicle, a man, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigating officers would like to hear from any witnesses, or anyone with dashcam footage, who have not already spoken to police.
