Law firm holds charity event for Maggie's

Staff at a Gloucester law firm are holding a casino night to support a local cancer charity.

Equilaw is hosting the event at the Chase Hotel in Gloucester to raise funds for its nominated charity of the year, Maggie's Cheltenham.

The casino night is being held from 8pm to 12am on Friday 19th October.

Sara Day, a member of the firm's charity committee, said: "We're hoping the event will be a great success and raise a lot of money for Maggie's Cheltenham.

"I have family members who have benefited enormously from the help and support that Maggie's offers and I am so grateful that Equilaw has chosen Maggie's Cheltenham as its charity of the year.

"Please do come along and make the event a roaring success."

Maggie's Cheltenham, which is based in College Baths Road near to the general hospital, offers practical, emotional and social support to people diagnosed with cancer and their families.
