Land Rover and Jaguar dealerships in Gloucestershire have new owners

Two of Gloucestershire's most up-market and well-known car dealerships are believed to have been been taken over.

Stratstone's Land Rover Ranger Rover garage at Staverton and its Rutherford Way Jaguar specialist in Rutherford Way, Cheltenham, are now under new ownership.

Details of the change of name have yet to be officially announced, but we can reveal the new owners are Heritage Automotive.

It is not yet known what this means for both sites or jobs.

Heritage Automotive is the Wiltshire-headquartered business's first foray into Gloucestershire already owning outlets in Bristol, Salisbury, Yeovil, Dorchester and Westbury.

To date it has been specialising in Audi, Skoda and Volkswagen marques.

No comment was available from Pendragon, the owners of the Stratstone business, and Heritage Automotive.
