Kohler staff boost charities with fundraising activities

Cheltenham-based shower manufacturer Kohler Mira managed to raise a combined total of more than £70,000 for its two partner charities, charity:water and Cancer Research UK.

The company held a range of fundraising activities, including a water-themed bake-off and a sponsored walk between its Cheltenham headquarters and its Barnwood site. Kohler Mira managed to raise £58,300 for charity: water and a further £11,982 for Cancer Research UK.

The company is partnering with Make A Wish for 2018.

"Charity is such a huge part of our company ethos," said Kohler Mira managing director Liz Hazeldene. "Both Cancer Research UK and charity: water are extremely close to everyone's hearts here and we are delighted with the results of our fundraising efforts last year.

"We are very excited to announce our new charity partner, Make a Wish, and all of our teams are already putting together some fantastic plans to beat our targets."
