King's Walk Shopping Centre is thrilled with fresh investment from Ann Summers

The management team at King's Walk Shopping Centre in Gloucester is celebrating a major investment from a world-famous lingerie brand.

Ann Summers, the multi-national retailer, is set to start work shortly on refurbishing its popular store in King's Walk.

To mark the occasion, prices of selected products in the store have been slashed by as much as 75 per cent, while there is at least 20 per cent off everything else.

The shop will be closed for refurbishment from Sunday, 26 March and reopen at the end of April with Ann Summers' exciting new branding, a fresh frontage and redesigned floor space.

Peter White (pictured), centre manager for King's Walk, said: "It is really good news that Ann Summers is continuing to invest significantly in the city centre and complete a full shop-fit and refurbishment of the store.

"It's already a very busy store but this work will bring it into line with the rest of the Ann Summers stores undergoing refits within the UK.

"It is great news for the local workforce employed at the store.

"There will be a launch event when it reopens that I'm sure will be a big draw to the city centre.

"We look forward to working with the store further to increase its customer base."
