Iacopi Palmer Solicitors celebrates 20th anniversary

Gloucester-based law firm, Iacopi Palmer Solicitors, is celebrating its 20th anniversary this month.

The company was set up in March 2003 by Christine Iacopi and Kevin Palmer.

The firm was initially a specialist clinical negligence practice. It acts for clients in a variety of areas within this specialism, including but not limited to, birth injury, gynaecology, infection, orthopaedics, cardiology, delay in diagnosis, GP negligence and other areas.

Whilst the firm remains a specialist clinical negligence practice, holding clinical negligence accreditations with the Law Society and the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers, over the last 20 years, it has expanded considerably.

Iacopi Palmer Solicitors now offers expert advice in most areas of law, acting for both individuals and businesses, and holds various other accreditations.

Areas of expertise include serious personal injury, inquests, litigation, wills, probate and trusts, powers of attorney, deputyship, residential and commercial conveyancing and landlord and tenant.

Emma Walker and Laura Bater were appointed as directors of the firm in 2019 and the firm's team now comprises 12 members of staff, including some of the region's most respected and experienced solicitors.

Most of the firm's clients come to them by recommendation, either by existing clients or by other lawyers who know of their expertise.

The firm also welcomes enquiries about its free half hour advice scheme, through which it provides initial advice to clients without charge in many circumstances.
