How to protect your business from a cyber attack will be the subject of FREE seminar

It's not a case of if... but when your business will be the victim of a cyber attack.

That warning will be highlighted at a cyber security seminar next week hosted by Cheltenham-based experts Tech Op Solutions.

The free seminar will take place at the C11 Cyber Security and Digital Innovation Centre at the Gloucestershire Science ant Technology Park in Berkeley on Thursday, May 2 between 9am and 1pm.

Charlton Kings-based Tech OP Solutions provide IT services to businesses across the county to ensure they are cyber secure in an age where attacks are becoming ever more frequent.

The seminar will be delivered in association with specialist insurance provider Stackhouse Poland and Gloucestershire Constabulary.

Justin Richmond, business relationship manager for Tech OP said: "A recent online survey highlighted the risks and problems that face SMEs on a day-to-day basis.

"It showed that 69 per cent of SMEs have received phishing emails in the last 12 months. While 70 per cent don't provide effective cyber security training for their employees.

"We want to highlight what can be done to prevent that risk from happening."

Breakfast and lunch will be provided, plus all businesses attending will get a free cyber vulnerability assessment from Tech OP and a cyber insurance review by Stackhouse Poland.

Tickets for the free event can be booked via https://c11cybersecurityseminar.eventbrite.co.uk
