Passionate About People, the parent company of Omega Resource Group, has been taken over.

Staffline, the recruitment and training group, today announced the acquisition of Passionate About People which is based at Bonds Mill, Stonehouse.

Passionate About People was established in 1998 and comprises two companies. These are Omega Resource Group Limited, a leading provider of blue-collar, flexible, staffing solutions to the aerospace, automotive, construction, energy, logistics and manufacturing sectors, and Datum RPO Limited, a provider of recruitment process outsourcing solutions to blue-chip clients.

Staffline said the acquisition was consistent with its strategy of accelerating the growth of its recruitment division through select, complementary acquisitions.

The acquisition broadens the group's UK footprint, particular in South West England, where it has branches in Swindon and Gloucester.

In the year ended 30 June 2017, Passionate About People reported revenues of £72 million and an operating profit of £2 million.

Passionate About People employs 140 people and was ranked 69th in Punchline's list of Gloucestershire's 100 Biggest Employers.

Last August, Belcan, the US based global supplier to the engineering sector, took over Omega Engineering Services which had been part of Passionate About People.
