Stewart Golf has been included in The Sunday Times 100, the annual list of Britain's fastest-growing private companies.

Specialising in luxurious remote controlled and follow golf trolleys, Golf Monthly recently stated that Stewart Golf had 'become the leader in electric trolley design and functionality' while Today's Golfer likened the British manufacturer to Bentley Motors.

Stewart Golf managing director & co-founder David Funnell said: "As a manufacturer, growing at speed has meant increasing the workforce by almost three times and space by 50 per cent. This would have been challenging in more stable periods, but to achieve it in these turbulent times is testament to the culture and spirit of our company. Our incredible team has performed tremendously to deliver our exceptional growth.

The article in The Sunday Times reads: "The companies in this list can rightly see themselves as growth heroes. In total the 100 grew revenues by £3.8 billion."

Notable companies that have previously featured in the list include fitness clothing retailer Gymshark and craft beer company Brewdog, as well as household names such as Carphone Warehouse, Fever-Tree and Innocent Drinks.

The Sunday Times 100 takes the baton from The Sunday Times Fast Track 100 series, which celebratedthe country's leading entrepreneurs for 24 years. The list features profitable companies that are independent, privately-owned and UK headquartered; have sales over £5 million and have four years of accounts.
