Gloucester 10K back on the city's roads

Runners are on course to pound the streets again Gloucester 10K on track to return this summer.

The race, which was cancelled this year due to the coronavirus pandemic, is scheduled for July 4.

Runners will be able to tackle the distance virtually along a route of their choice - with a prize for the best landscape - or take on the course which starts in Gloucester Park and includes the Cathedral, Quays, Docks and along the Gloucester and Sharpness canal.

Organised by Davies & Partners Solicitors and Gloucester Quays Rotary Club, the race is sponsored by EG Carter and the main charity partner is the Hollie Gazzard Trust along with Winston's Wish.

The race also includes a corporate challenge and an inter-running club competition.
