Get a slice of the pizza action!

A buyer is being sought for a successful pizza franchise in Gloucester city centre.

Fireaway Pizza in Eastgate Street currently turns over about £9,000 a week and is extremely profitable, according to owner Gurminder Sahota.

However, Gurminder, who has been running the Gloucester business for two years, is looking to sell the franchise because he is based three hours away.

Gurminder described it as an "amazing opportunity" for somebody to take on as he said it is in a "brilliant location"

Gurminder said: "It's located opposite the nightclub and we've got a late night licence on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday until 5am.

"It's one of the fastest growing franchises in the UK at the moment. It's just the fact that we're living so far away. It's a great profitable business for someone that's taking it on that's local.

"It could appeal to anyone who's really interested in the food industry to be fair. It could be someone who already has a shop or business or even a pizza shop or anyone who's interested in the franchise. A few people have already expressed an interest."

With 18 years still to run on the lease of the premises, Gurminder is looking to sell the franchise for £125,000. He also has another outlet in Worcester which is up for sale.

The pizza shop currently has eight employees, including the delivery drivers.

Gurminder added: "The oven that we use is a stone baked oven which is different to the other major franchises in the UK. It's a healthy alternative as it's almost half the calories."

Anyone interested in finding out more should call Gurminder on 07478 740146.
