Guests celebrate Gloucestershire book launch

More than 100 people gathered at Kingsholm to celebrate the launch of Mark Cummings' new book.

The former BBC Radio Gloucestershire presenter was joined by friends, family and former BBC colleagues to toast Glorious Gloucestershire.

Mark Cummings was welcomed to the stage by Gloucester's legendary town crier, Alan Myatt.

The newbie author shared some stories from the book, while friends, including Mike D'Abo from Manfred Mann and Nick Gazzard of the Hollie Gazzard Trust, also entertained guests.

Punchline-Gloucester.com editor Mark Owen, who used to do a regular slot on BBC Radio Gloucestershire with Mark Cummings, was among the guests. He said: "It was a very nice evening to launch an entertaining book. We wish Mark all the best in his new career as an author and travel writer."
